Marie Lea Obituary

Lebanon, TN - Marie Lea, age 68 of Lebanon, died Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Smith Co. Healthcare in Carthage. Born April 14, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Lea and Robbie Jean Sloan Lea. Marie was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Barton's Creek Baptist Church.


Marie is survived by her brothers, Carl Lea and his wife, Terry, of Lebanon and Timmy Lea and his wife, Rose, of Brush Creek; special cousin, Theresa Luick; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Lea, Amber Lea, Christopher Lea, Brandon (Chelsea) Lea, Brittany Lea; great-nieces and nephews, Jacob, Jasmine and Aaliyah Farmer, Thomas Lea, June and Jesse McCleary, Porter Lea; aunts, Nelda Sloan Garrett and Mary Lea Baines; and many loving cousins.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at Barton's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jacob Colwell and Rev. Jamie Watson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till service time Friday at the church. Pallbearers, Carl Lea, Timmy Lea, Brandon Lea, Christopher Lea, Jacob Farmer, Thomas Lea, Bob Watson, James Lea. Interment at Wilson Co. Memorial Park.
