Norene, TN - Evelyn Lannom, age 94 of the Norene Community, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Vanderbilt-Wilson Hospital in Lebanon. Born Aug. 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Troy Cunningham and Ludie Turner Cunningham. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Shirley Clayton Lannom, on April 18, 2015 and by her brother Kenneth Cunningham.

Evelyn was a lifelong member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and a 1949 graduate of Watertown High School. She retired from Wilson County Government after 23 years in the Register of Deeds office.

Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Vicky Trice and her husband, Terry of Lebanon; her son, Mark Lannom and his wife, Angie of Watertown; grandchildren, Ginger (Andy) Rowsey, Brad (Natalie) Trice, Beth (Jason) Bradshaw, Chase (Rome) Lannom, Parker (Gabrielle) Teague; great-grandchildren, Leura and Eppie Rowsey, Brett, Ben and Brooks Trice, Lee and Della Bradshaw, Hendrix Lannom; sister-in-law, Myra Cunningham; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Jennings officiating. Visitation was Saturday from 1 p.m. till service time. Pallbearers were Brad Trice, Chase Lannom, Parker Teague, Andy Rowsey, Jason Bradshaw, Brett Trice. Granddaughters and great-grandchildren served as Honorary Pallbearers. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery in Norene.
