Doug White Obituary

Lebanon, TN - Funeral service for Mr. Doug White will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Pratt and Jay Makatche officiating. Interment Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation Friday 4-7 PM and Saturday after 12 Noon at Ligon & Bobo. Mr. White, age 74 of Lebanon, passed away at his home July 23, 2025.


William Douglas White Sr. was born July 26, 1950, in Wilson County. He had worked at the Lebanon Woolen Mill, and last as a dock worker for truck lines. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Frances Baines White; brother, Billy Clay White; and grandparents, Harrison and Ella Baines and James and Alice White.


Survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Rogers White; two children: Doug (Michelle) White and Misty (Jason) Ball; grandchildren: Alex Chastain, Jacob White, Weston White, Peyton Hill, Jerry Douglas "J.D." White, Logan Ball, and Brianna Ball; sister, Annette Testamand; brother, Bob White; several nieces and nephews.


Honorary pallbearers: Bob White, J. D. White, Weston White, Peyton Hill, and Logan Ball. Active pallbearers: Doug White Jr., Jacob White, Jason Ball, Alex Chastain, Matthew Martin, and Billy Burns.
