Lebanon, TN - Don Clark, age 79, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on July 19, 2025, with his with family nearby.

Donald Eugene Clark was born in Cookeville, Tennessee, on March 5, 1946 to Frank Butler Clark and Clark Rosa Frances Carter Clark. His father was a truck driver — helping instill a spirit for adventure and Don's passion to travel. He attended Two Rivers High School in Donelson, where "Modie" (Don) made lifelong friends, before embarking on an diverse career path that included driving large construction equipment, floor installation, and working at a Nashville insurance company.

He met the love of his life, Delia Cynthia Contreras, in Nashville, Tenn., and they married on Oct. 7, 1978. Together, they raised their daughter, Dana, and instilled that same spirit for adventure and travel. In 1986, after living in Beeville, Texas for a few years, the family moved to a farming community in Lebanon, Tenn.

Don's favorite job was being a stay-at-home dad, however he also loved helping out friends on their farms whether it be "counting cows" or driving tractors. He took great pride in taking care of the household, working on cars and showing his family love through planning wonderful road trip family vacations — eventually traveling to 48 states.

Don loved the Lord and was a member of Westland United Methodist Church, where his family also attended.

Don is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cindy Clark, daughter Dana and son-in-law Keith Bryson, grandson Liam Bryson, niece Jennifer Leigh Baldwin Anderson, her husband Jeff and their children. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Rosa, sister Shirley Elizabeth Baldwin, and brother Edward Ray Clark.
