Charlie T. Morris (Hunter Funeral) Obituary

Watertown, TN - Charlie Tillie Morris, age 92 of Watertown, passed away Monday morning, November 11, 2025, at his home. Born July 14, 1933 in the Commerce community, he was the son of the late James A. Morris and Rosie Mae Bayne Morris. Charlie was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Annie Lou Fletcher Morris, in 2010; sisters, Nellie Mae Tyree and Pauline Dodd; his brother, John Morris and an infant brother James Morris.


Charlie was a proud U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of the Watertown Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a retiree of the Lux Clock Division of Robertshaw Controls.


Charlie is survived by his sister, Francis Dodd of Alexandria, TN, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.


Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of the Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Rodger McCann officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 2-8 PM and Saturday after 9 AM at the funeral home. Pallbearers: James Vaden, Jason Dodd, Josh Tyree, Hayden Gwaltney, Van Bayne and Troy Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be retirees of Lux Clock/Robertshaw Controls of Lebanon. Interment, with military honors, will be in the Commerce Cemetery.
